Dr. Nikita Bezrukov

Dr. Nikita Bezrukov is a Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with over a decade of experience in Joint and Sports reconstructive surgery. He completed his medical training at the top nationally ranked Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and went on to stay to complete orthopedic surgery residency at UCLA Ronal Reagan Medical Center. He chose to specialize in joints and sports reconstruction and completed two separate fellowships, one in Sports Medicine at the Kaiser Permanente of Southern California and a second one in Joint Replacement Surgery at the UCSD Medical Center. Dr.  Bezrukov specializes in joint replacement surgery as well as complex revision surgery, sports medicine including arthroscopic knee, and shoulder surgery and fracture care. His specialty is Robotic Knee replacement, anterior hip surgery that provides a quick recovery, ACL/PCL ligamentous reconstruction and knee replacement.  He complements his practice with non surgical advanced PRP injection therapy.

 

His credo is to approach each patient with attention to detail, and map out a safe and effective plan of treatment with a quick recovery and return to work and daily activities.  He has practiced on the island of Maui early in his career but returned to California for the second fellowship. He enjoys surfing, mountain biking, skiing, and golf.

Dr. Nikita Bezrukov is a Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with over a decade of experience in Joint and Sports reconstructive surgery. Dr.  Bezrukov specializes in primary joint replacement surgery as well as complex revision surgery as well as sports medicine.  His specialty is Robotic Knee replacement and anterior hip replacement surgery that provides a minimally invasive and enhanced recovery.  Trained in advanced and minimally invasive rotator cuff repair techniques, ACL/PCL ligament reconstruction and meniscal injuries, he is able to provide comprehensive operative and non-operative solutions for shoulder, hip and knee problems.  He complements his surgical practice with advanced biological non-operative treatment for hip and knee pain such as PRP and stem cell injection therapy.

Dr. Biviji is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and is fellowship trained in joint replacement. He specializes in hip, knee and shoulder disorders including arthritis, sports injuries, and fractures. He has been a leader in robotic surgery and performed the first robotic hip replacement in Orange County in 2012. His areas of interest include less invasive joint replacements and arthroscopic surgeries, and he performs over 500 surgeries a year.

 

Dr. Biviji received his bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993, where he earned the Herman P. Schwann award given to the top engineer in his class and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended the University of California, San Francisco for medical school and a residency in orthopedics, where he won awards for top resident and top research. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in joint replacement surgery and adult reconstruction at Scripps Hospital in San Diego. 

 

In 2003, Dr. Biviji joined Kaiser Permanente in Orange County. Since 2006, he has been in private practice and on staff at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. In 2014, he served as the chief of orthopedics for the hospital. He also serves on the orthopedic implant and Physician Link Advisory committees. Dr. Biviji remains committed to adopting the latest technologies and advancing patient care. 

 

In his free time, Dr. Biviji enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, working out, and spending time with his wife and two children.  He also volunteers  at the Orange County Courtyard homeless shelter in Santa Ana and at Lestonnac free medical clinic.

Dr. Eric Lee

Orthopedic Surgery

Dr.  Lee was born and raised in Upstate New York where he earned all-state honors in tennis and soccer.  He then moved west for college and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University. 

 

Dr. Lee earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Orthopedic surgery at the University of California at San Francisco. After completing his fellowship with noted knee specialists Dr. Lonnie Paulos and Tom Rosenberg in Salt Lake City, Utah and renowned shoulder specialist Dr. Buddy Savoie in Jackson, Mississippi, he began practicing in Orange County in 2002.  

 

He has been honored multiple times as a Physician of Excellence by the Orange County Medical Association and has led the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital as the section chair.  Dr. Lee holds a Subspecialty board certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine for diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries and specializes in arthroscopic and open treatment of knee and shoulder pathology such as meniscus and ligament injury, osteochondral lesions, arthritis, labral tears, shoulder instability, and rotator cuff tears.  He is an experienced teacher/ lecturer in musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections.  

 

He is also at the forefront of orthobiologic non-operative interventions such as platelet rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell injections. Since 2002, he has volunteered and covered the sports programs for Orange High School and Villa Park High School.

Dr. Paul Beck

Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Beck is a Southern California native who has been practicing Orthopaedic Surgery in Orange since 1989.   His university studies began at UC Irvine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in biology. UC San Francisco School of Medicine then followed and is distinctive because he not only received his MD degree but he met his future wife, Huong Duong M.D.  Dr. Beck then returned to Southern California and UC Irvine for his Orthopaedic Residency training. 

Following residency, in 1989, he joined local Orthopaedic surgeons Donald Ball, M.D. and Christopher Wills, M.D. in Orange. This group later became La Veta Orthopaedic Associates where Dr. Beck practiced for 26 years until.  He is now practicing with Orange Orthopedic Medical Group. 

Dr. Beck is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with interest in knee and hip replacement, arthroscopy and fractures. He utilizes the MAKOplasty robotic system for hip replacement and partial knee replacement procedures. 

In addition to his Orthopaedic Surgery responsibilities, Dr. Beck has held many leadership positions. These include Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Saint Joseph Hospital; President of the Western Orthopaedic Association, Orange County Chapter; Secretary/Treasurer, Saint Joseph Hospital Medical Staff; Vice Chief of Staff, Saint Joseph Hospital Medical Staff; and Chief of Staff, Saint Joseph Hospital. In 2014, he accepted the position of Interim Chief Medical Officer at Saint Joseph Hospital and served in that position until 2017.

Dr. Beck is also an active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the California Orthopaedic Association, California Medical Association and Orange County Medical Association.  

In his time off Dr. Beck enjoys traveling with his family, photography and snowboarding. Recently he has also enjoyed going on medical missions in underserved countries.
